Perudo is the ancient Peruvian dice game for two or more players. First played by the Incas in the fifteenth century, it is rumoured that Atahualpa Emperor of the Incas refined the game to its present level of skill and luck during his captivity after his defeat by Pizarro in 1532. Passed down through generations of South Americans, Perudo is still played thought Andean lands and has more recently been introduced into Spain. It is a game of guesswork, bluff and, most importantly, luck!
Can you guess the total quantity of a number on the dice hidden beneath all players cups? Use your intuition or bluff your way through your call and pass the buck to the next player. But watch out - you may be challenged on your call - and if the dice can prove that you've been bluffing, you'll lose a life.
Use the skill you gain as you play Perudo to keep as many dice as you can. Can you equal the level of skill and luck that Emperor Atahualpa achieved in prison?
