OUR MISSION
Thank you for visiting Phoenix Board Games. Here we specialise in New & Pre-Loved Board Games, Card Games, Jigsaws and Model Kits.
Our goal is to reduce waste and landfll, and the core of our mission is to recycle and breathe new life into vintage (and not so vintage) games, jigsaws and models.
Along with that mission we have implemented a system of reducing plastic inside the items in our store. We are phasing out plastic bags as a way of organising cards within boxes and are now using a paper variant.
STORAGE
Storing and handling Pre-Loved items can offer unique challenges. Finding a game that is almost 70 years old can be exhilarating, or that one title you remember from your childhood may bring back memories of long evenings spent with friends and family.
We have implemented a system using sturdy, stackable plastic boxes. This will ensure that the items in our range or kept secure and safe from further wear and tear.

In order to assist you in finding the right fit for your Board Gaming needs we use the following categories to identify the contents of all our Pre-Loved items. Please note that these are not a category of condition and all our items are Pre-Loved so even the NEW items may have some cosmetic damage.
NEW – a brand new item that is still in its original wrapping
LIKE NEW – an item that is complete and has some of its contents still sealed, or unused
COMPLETE – all parts are complete as per the rules packet
PLAYABLE – some parts may be missing, however it does not affect the playability of the game. Some parts may have been spares in the first instance, or may be obtained online (in the case of game rules)
PARTS – the item is incomplete, it would require additional parts to be able to play
